As the kilometres build up on a new set of Primacy 5s my satisfaction keeps in step. Having always had a ‘sports’ tyre with a less finicky tread pattern, these tyres appeared rather fussy and more in keeping with a less frisky car. At the outset, I was unsure that these Primacy 5s would come close to the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s which they were supposed to replace. Since fitting the Primacy 5s, I have been delighted the improved fuel economy, reduced road noise and excellent handling and braking in all conditions. Adding further to my happiness with these tyres has been the cash back offer. The offer reduced each tyre by an additional €9 per tyre.

J'ai choisi à tort les Michelin Primacy 5 et je regrette ce choix car ma Honda Civic 8 a perdu tout son charme, tout ce qui me donnait plaisir à la conduire. Je n'ai pas du tout une conduite sportive, loin de là, mais je me rend compte que j'ai perdu énormément en précision de conduite. Je trouve désormais la direction beaucoup plus hasardeuse. La voiture est "molle" je trouve, je ne sais pas comment l'expliquer, plus de roulis (pneus pourtant bien gonflés). Je n'ai pas gagné en confort en plus. Ce mauvais choix m'a couté cher, car j'ai douté de mon véhicule : j'ai payé un 2ème équilibrage auprès d'un autre garage et également déposé mon véhicule chez Honda pour un diagnostic du train avant et parallélisme. A priori, aucun problème à signaler, ni sur la voiture, ni sur les pneus. Conclusion, c'est surtout un ressenti personnel. J'ai l'impression désormais de conduire une voiture basique avec des pneus basiques. Pour l'instant je n'ai fait que 2000 km avec. Ce sont peut être des bons pneus pour d'autres personnes. En ce qui me concerne, j'ai fait un mauvais choix, ça ne "matche" pas avec mon véhicule, et je le regrette vu le prix de ces pneus.

The new tyres are great, I drive 14 miles a day down wet country lanes and they have been superb in the wet as many time I have to stop quick when someone comes the other way. They are quiet too.
