As the kilometres build up on a new set of Primacy 5s my satisfaction keeps in step. Having always had a ‘sports’ tyre with a less finicky tread pattern, these tyres appeared rather fussy and more in keeping with a less frisky car. At the outset, I was unsure that these Primacy 5s would come close to the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s which they were supposed to replace. Since fitting the Primacy 5s, I have been delighted the improved fuel economy, reduced road noise and excellent handling and braking in all conditions. Adding further to my happiness with these tyres has been the cash back offer. The offer reduced each tyre by an additional €9 per tyre.

Terms of publication and processing of online reviewsExcellent waiting, for original Michelins on rear axle to wear out after over 33000 miles so I can replace them with two more. These tyres though originally expensive prove cost effective over the long term they are quiet comfortable and grip and handle well in all weathers.

I was impressed with the way the tyres felt, but unfortunately the 2 front tyres were punctured in separate incidents within a month, but no fault of the tyres.
