Always bought Michelin for all our cars at home, pilot sport 4, pilot sport 5 and pilot sport EV. Ps5 was so noisy on current car I thought wheel bearing was failing. Tyres last well and grip level is satisfactory

They are a good tyre. Maybe a little noisier than the brand they replaced. Overall wear seems to be slightly less than previous tyres.

Overall these are exceedingly good tyres; traction is outstanding, grip is terrific and steering feels good. These are fitted to my Jaguar XF 3.0d Sportbrake and on balance the Primacy would probably have been the better all-round decision. The MPS5 is an ultra high performance tyre and I have noticed refinement is the big trade off for the added performance - tyre noise is more noticeable than my previous Pirelli P Zero tyre. Fuel economy isn’t noticeably worse but there’s just a bit more roar at all speeds. Horses for courses, and the benefit is that on occasions when I can use the performance, the tyre is delivering the goods. It’s just that those occasions are few and far between on a big family wagon.
