The best tyres I have ever had.

Peter Hirsch - December 31, 2015

I have used Michelin tyres before; and tyres by other makers. Michelin tyres have always been my preference on the grounds of long life and drop on the road. But they are costly and I can't always afford to buy them. On this occasion, I had four very worn tyres and winter approaching. I was offered "buy four and get one free". Irresistible and highly competitive. Fitted quickly and competently by QuikFit. Then I drove to Devon in heavy rain and into the hills. My new tyres made very little road noise, far less than any tyres I have ever had on my Picasso. It was like driving a new car. It steered better, it stopped quicker and it went up the Devon hills with more control on the mud that had flowed onto the roads. Altogether an experience so satisfying I have to share it. Quite simply, the best tyres I have ever used.

Your website got it WRONG

gandles - September 13, 2015

Looking to replace my original tyres, I filled in response to your web questions - one was "how often do you drive in winter conditions" my response was "NEVER" . Your page moved on to show the recommended tyre for my usage - it indicated a tyre recommended for winter conditions. As I said as a headline : your website got it WRONG. I shan't buy your tyres - you failed at the first hurdle.

Very impressed....

DavidW - August 18, 2015

Fitted these at the end of last summer, and took tyhem off in March - used for about 5000 miles. The winter Michelins were much quieter than the summer Pirellis, and they appeared to give a less harsh ride. Only had about an inch or so of snow, which would have been enough to confuse the rear-wheel-drive automatic Jaguar. The Alpins appeared to make winter go away. No problems atr all in snow, on icy surfaces or in cold rain. Very impressed.
