Hitting the Sweetspot!

As the kilometres build up on a new set of Primacy 5s my satisfaction keeps in step. Having always had a ‘sports’ tyre with a less finicky tread pattern, these tyres appeared rather fussy and more in keeping with a less frisky car. At the outset, I was unsure that these Primacy 5s would come close to the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s which they were supposed to replace. Since fitting the Primacy 5s, I have been delighted the improved fuel economy, reduced road noise and excellent handling and braking in all conditions. Adding further to my happiness with these tyres has been the cash back offer. The offer reduced each tyre by an additional €9 per tyre.

These tyres are performing as expected. They replace awful Kumho, made in China, a pair didn't even make 9000 miles before they were at limit. A different batch of Kumho on the front are lasting longer. So completely unpredictable, so will never buy Kumho again. These replacement Michelins were not a lot more expensive than the kumhos and it looks like they will last 25000 miles easily.

Michelin est au point sur la tenue de route et la qualité des pneus. Je ne regrette pas d'avoir choisi cette monte de pneu pour remplacer les 4 pneus de mon véhicule BMW SERIE 1. La conduite et plus souple et ont sent réellement une meilleure accroche avec la route. L'évacuation de l'eau par temps de pluie et également d'une bonne appréciation. Un 10 sur 10 pour ma part.

Excellently and in the wet as advertised they grip very well and even passengers have advised how quite the road noise is in the car

All fine so far and glad I changed to these before winter.

Very well. Fairly quiet on the roads and perform as expected in wet and dry weather.

Much more planted feel than previous budget tyres. Quieter, much better wet grip, improved braking performance. Would buy again.

Bon compromis entre sol sec et humide. Excellente longévité des pneus Michelin précédent.
